International (the same people who, when they were known as International Harvester, made the Scout and Travelall) currently sell a rebadged Chevy Silverado 4500/5500 called the CV. Not to be confused with the Peterbilt Resumé or the Freightliner Cover Letter. It’s quite weird looking, mainly because it’s a Silverado with an International badge, a badge that hasn’t been on any car-like vehicle since the very early 80s.
The interior is, as you’d expect, basically the same as the Silverado. Just with an International badge lazily pasted on.
They should definitely do the same thing to the Suburban and Tahoe, and then call them the Travelall and Scout. They’d probably sell more than 3. Although I doubt they’d hit double digits.

“ Not to be confused with the Peterbilt Resumé or the Freightliner Cover Letter.”
This is the quality humor I’m here for.

It’s funny how popular big SUV’s got after International stopped making them! The market really grew in the 90s

Heh. That’s a great observation. Funny that “The Grand Wagoner” and The Travelall were the only game in town for many years for a 4-door SUV suitable for families. And, they didn’t sell many. Eventually, GM and Ford got around to 4-door Tahoes and Explorers etc and the market explodes. Go figger.
I always had a soft spot for the AMC Eagle— another goofy AMC product that was the first “crossover” in a category that didn’t develop for another 15 years. Market timing is very strange sometimes.

Fun fact: International Trucks are represented in Australia by Iveco.
So , fortunately, stupid tie-ins like this could never happen here.

The Chevy version isn’t a looker, but that’s is UGLY. That grill looks like the cheap tacked in thing that it is.

This reminds me of this version of the Dodge Ram:
The Sterling Bullet.
